Oregon (-6.5) at Washington State: O/U 56.0
Oregon bounced back with a convincing 41-20 win over BYU and told everyone, including me, put some respect on the Ducks name.
While Oregon looked terrible versus Georgia, we now recognize the Bulldogs are the best team in the country and likely going to steamroll a majority of their opponents.
If you look at the Oregon versus Washington State history, you would have been rich betting the Cougars over and over in the series.
Per NBC’s Edge Finder, from 2010 to 2019, Oregon did not cover a single spread versus Washington State across 10 meetings. Washington State was 10-0 ATS during that span.
However, Oregon has covered the past two as favorites of -10.5 and -13.5, winning by 14 points in each matchup. I think Oregon covers again and the tide continues to turn.

Washington State is 3-0 with wins versus Idaho, Wisconsin and Colorado State. The last time Washington State was 4-0 to start the season was 2017. In 2017, Washington State beat an 0-3 Nevada team that finished the season 3-9 by a score of 35-7 at home to get to 4-0.
The Cougars won three-straight games to open the 2018 season and lost at USC 39-36 in that fourth game, then started 3-0 again the following year, but lost the fourth game to UCLA 67-63 at home.
This should be a fun quarterback battle with Bo Nix (5 total TDs last week) and Cameron Ward (8 TDs - 3 INTs) squaring off. However, the Ducks defense proved they could limit BYU’s Jaren Hall last week.
Despite impressive numbers: 305 yards and 2 TDs to no INTs on 29/41 passing, Hall and BYU only 20 points to show for it.
Washington State scored 10 points in the third quarter on Wisconsin and neither team scored for the Cougars to hang onto the 17-14 win.
I expect points from both teams here, but Oregon’s defense is no joke despite what Georgia did to them and I believe that will be the difference.
The Ducks have yet to force a turnover versus an FBS opponent and the Cougars had three turnovers at Wisconsin and two turnovers at home versus Colorado State, so I believe the turnovers will come here for Oregon’s defense.
Let’s ride the Ducks -6.5 (-110) out to -7 and throw them in the ML Parlay with Auburn for -104 odds on BetMGM.

Pick: Oregon -6.5 (1u), Oregon ML and Auburn ML Parlay (1u)
