Rice joins Junior Caminero as known participants for the event, which will take place Monday in Philadelphia. The 27-year-old has been sensational in 2026 with 25 homers, and it’s not hard to imagine him doing well in the competition next week.
  • PIT Shortstop #85
Passan reports that it’s possible Griffin could play through the tear, the most likely outcome for the 20-year-old is rehab that would keep the shortstop out for at least a month. The Pirates haven’t announced a placement on the injured list just yet, but fantasy managers have to be prepared for Griffin to likely be out through July, at the least. It’s a major bummer for one of the games bright young talents, and those who enjoy watching him play.
  • STL Starting Pitcher #55
Zimmermann is expected to follow Matt Svanson, who will be the opener for Game 1 of the doubleheader on Tuesday. Zimmermann has pitched to a 3.78 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 84/21 K/BB ratio in 78 2/3 innings at Triple-A this season. His strikeout rate and swinging strike rate are the highest we’ve seen from him in a few years, and there is a chance that he could pitch his way into the Cardinals’ rotation, but we’d avoid him in fantasy leagues for right now.
  • MIL Starting Pitcher #54
Gasser will start Game 2 on Tuesday. The left-hander has a 4.54 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 36/13 K/BB ratio in 35 2/3 innings across seven starts for the Brewers this season. He has pitched better of late, allowing five runs on 13 hits in 17 1/3 innings across his last three starts with a 17/4 K/BB ratio. He’s a decent streamer in deeper formats today.
  • MIL Center Fielder
The Brewers have eight games this week, including a doubleheader on Tuesday, so there is no word yet on the plan for Lara going forward. However, the 21-year-old has certainly earned an opportunity. He is slashing .321/.423/.470 in 78 games at Triple-A with nine home runs, 67 runs scored, and 24 steals. There doesn’t seem to be a spot in the outfield for Lara, but Sal Frelick has played third base before and David Hamilton (hamstring) may be going on the injured list. There are still some moving pieces here, but Lara, who is the 67th-ranked prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline, signed a seven-year, $31 million extension with Milwaukee last month, so he is part of this team’s future. We would not add him in fantasy leagues until we get a more clear understanding of his role.
  • BAL Relief Pitcher #74
Bautista had surgery to repair a torn labrum last summer and began his throwing program at the beginning of June. He has now thrown a full bullpens for the Orioles and could be set to face live hitters in the coming weeks. That would likely set him up for a rehab assignment shortly after the All-Star break and a potential return for the Orioles in the second half of August. If Ryan Helsley (elbow) remains sidelined by then, it could give Bautista a chance to earn some save opportunities to finish the season.
  • SF Left Fielder #17
This would have been a three-homer game in most ballparks and sort of was in San Francisco anyway; Ramos scored on the triple to right-center when the throw got past the third baseman and went into the dugout. Statcast says the triple, hit a projected 399 feet, would have been a homer in 29 parks. Ramos later had an opposite-field homer, hit 349 feet down the right field line, and a 110-mph, 434 foot bomb to left-center. Even his groundout tonight was hit 112 mph. Just a week ago, the Giants were being slow to activate Ramos from the IL because of concerns about how he’d fit in with Casey Schmitt playing the outfield. However, those went away with Matt Chapman getting hurt, and Ramos has hit .313 with four homers, eight RBI and eight runs scored in eight games since returning.
  • NYM Left Fielder #22
Soto’s three-run homer off Raisel Iglesias gave the Mets a 5-3 lead that failed to hold up initially, as Matt Olson responded with a two-run shot in the bottom of the inning. However, the Mets did prevail in 10, with Luis Torrens connecting on a go-ahead double off the bench. Soto had three walks to go along with his 19th homer tonight. He also collected his seventh steal.
  • ATL Relief Pitcher #26
Iglesias gave up two singles before Juan Soto hit a three-run homer with two outs in the ninth, giving the Mets a 5-3 lead. The Braves came back in the bottom of the ninth, but they went on to lose in 10. The homer was the second allowed by Iglesias this year, and he allowed three runs for the first time since surrendering four against the Yankees last July 19. He’d converted 35 straight save chances (17 this year, 18 last season) since his previous blown opportunity.
  • ATL 1st Baseman #28
Olsen had a solo shot off Freddy Peralta in the third and then a game-tying two-run homer off Devin Williams in the ninth. It was his second two-homer game of the series and 28th of his career. He’s tied for seventh in the majors in homers, and he’s just five shy of what he finished at each of the last two years.
