NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Dolphins traded QB Quinn Ewers to the Jaguars for a 2028 sixth-round pick.
Ewers appeared in four games for the Dolphins during his rookie season, three of which were starts, and provides the ability to grow into Trevor Lawrence’s direct backup in 2026. While the details of the acquisition were not immediately made available, the deal appears to be a win-win for both sides considering the Dolphins currently find themselves in the midst of a multi-year rebuild.
