This will be one of the tougher weeks to handicap. The NFL is dealing with a ton of health and safety COVID-related issues. Changes have been made to this week’s schedule. Odds via PointsBet.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. Cleveland Browns (-1) Total: 41.5
I know this was originally a Saturday game and opened up with the Browns as high as a 6.5-point favorite. Covid issues with the Browns have made the Raiders a 4.5-point favorite. After the game was rescheduled the Browns became a one-point favorite and the Total went back up to 41.5. I would not wager on a side in this game. If anything, I would bet the Under. Edge: Under 41.5
New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts (-2.5) Total: 46
Every week of this season I have tried to give you the best unbiased advice to cash a wager on every game. The correct bet on this game is to lay the 2.5 with the Colts. The Patriots are a trendy Underdog this week. I normally fade trendy Underdogs. The Patriots are 6-0 on the Money Line as the road team this season, yet the Colts are the favorite. The sharp side is the Colts, plus they need the game more. I just think New England is the better team, and I don’t trust Carson Wentz in this spot. Edge: Patriots +2.5
Carolina Panthers vs Buffalo Bills (-10.5) Total: 44.5
The point spread being this high would make me feel comfortable that Josh Allen will play this week, but laying 10.5 points with the Buffalo Bills does not make me feel comfortable. To be fair, the Bills are 2-1-1 when laying 10 or more points this season. The Panthers are 3-3 ATS on the road this season. Buffalo is 4-2 to the Under at home this season, and that may be the safest bet. Edge: Under 44.5
Arizona Cardinals vs. Detroit Lions (+12.5) Total: 47.5
The Cardinals are 7-0 ATS and on the Money Line as the road team this season. The Lions are 4-2 ATS at home this season. I think Detroit is overmatched this week. Edge: Cardinals -12.5
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (-5) Total: 39.5
The Jaguars fired head coach Urban Meyer, and the number moved in their direction. What a time to be alive. You would have to be pretty brave to lay points with Jacksonville. I would not take this game to the window, but the value is on the Texans. Edge: Texans +5
New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins (-9.5) Total: 41
Both the Jets and Dolphins have turned it around this season. The Dolphins have played better as of late. The Dolphins are on a five-game winning streak. Miami has covered the spread in their last five home games. I like them to do so again this week. Edge: Dolphins -9.5
Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants (+10.5) Total: 44
You can handicap this week for the Cowboys much like last week. Dak Prescott, despite not playing well as of late, is 18-8 ATS vs. NFC East teams. Prescott is 7-3 on the Money Line and 8-2 ATS vs. the Giants. One of the ATS losses was in the game he broke his ankle. Edge: Cowboys -10.5
Washington Football Team vs. Philadelphia Eagles (-9.5) Total: 44.5
When the Philadelphia Eagles have been the favorite this season they are 3-1 ATS, 3-1 on the Money Line and 3-1 to the Over. I think the Over is the best bet in this scenario. This game has been moved to Tuesday night. Edge: Over 42.5

Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (PK) Total: 43
This is one of the harder games of the week to handicap. Everything says Titans to me, but the line movement and injury concerns have me baffled. With that being said, there is still value on the Total. The Titans are 5-1 to the Over on the road this season. Edge: Over 43
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Denver Broncos (-2.5) Total: 43.5
The Bengals and Broncos meet up this week in what is essentially a playoff game. Both teams are 7-6 on the Money Line this season. The Broncos are 3-2 straight up in their last five games while the Bengals are 2-3 in their last five games. These teams are evenly matched, but I think the Bengals are in a better spot this week. Cincinnati is 4-2 against the spread and 4-2 on the Money Line on the road this season. The Broncos are 5-3 ATS and on the Money Line as favorites this season, but all of those wins came vs. teams that are below .500 on the season. Denver has done a good job of beating up on weaker opponents this season. The Bengals are undervalued this week. Edge: Bengals +2.5
Atlanta Falcons vs. San Francisco 49ers (-9.5) Total: 46.5
The last thing I thought I would be doing this season was betting on the Atlanta Falcons. With that being said, Atlanta is 5-2 ATS on the road this season. Edge: Falcons +9.5
Green Bay Packers vs. Baltimore Ravens (+6.5) Total: 43.5
Things are not going well for the Baltimore Ravens as we close out the season. The Ravens have not looked impressive for weeks and have lost back-to-back games. The Packers on the other hand are rolling. It’s a risky bet if I’m getting points with the Ravens at home, sp I’m taking them. Edge: Ravens +6.5
Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams (-4) Total: 45
The Rams are coming off one of their better wins of the season. This week they face an old division foe in the Seattle Seahawks. It’s tough to back either of these teams against the spread. NFC West games are 5-4 to the Under this season, and the Seahawks are 9-3-1 to the Under on the season. This game has also been moved to Tuesday night. Edge: Under 45
New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-11) Total: 45.5
Since beating the Buccaneers earlier in the season, the Saints are 1-5 on the Money Line. The Bucs are on a four-game winning streak. Tampa is 5-0 ATS when they are double-digit favorites. Edge: Buccaneers -11
