Does anybody want to win the NFC East?

So far this season, the NFC East has three wins in 16 football games.

The division has been so bad through the first quarter that the Philadelphia Eagles are in first place at 1-2-and-1. They finally got their first win on Sunday Night Football over the San Francisco 49ers. It moved them from third place to first place just like that. Good thing we advised you to take the Iggles +175 to win the division after Week 1.

After Philadelphia, it’s Washington at 1-3, Dallas at 1-3 then New York at 0-4. None of the four teams have a positive point differential and the Cowboys Defense has allowed an NFL-worst 146 points.

“You have to think it’s a two-horse race,” Westgate SuperBook executive director John Murray told NBC Sports. “Even though they’re 1-3 and probably should be 0-4, I’d still say Dallas has the most talent. But I give the edge to the Eagles because of coaching. I can’t believe Mike McCarthy got another job. The Packers are much better without him."[[ad:athena]]

PointsBet Sportsbook just released updated odds to win the NFC East. Interestingly enough, Dallas is still a slight favorite at -115, then Philadelphia +110, Washington +1100 and New York +5000.

“The Football Team stinks, but they could be more competitive if they go to Kyle Allen at quarterback and get their lines healthy,” Murray analyzed. “The Giants are a total mess. You’d almost have to try to do as bad of a job as Dave Gettleman has done with that organization. They are a total tear down.”

Philadelphia plays at Pittsburgh next then has two home games against Baltimore and New York before a showdown with Dallas on November 1. Their schedule down the stretch includes tough games at Cleveland, vs. Seattle, at Green Bay, vs. New Orleans and at Arizona.

Dallas gets home games with New York and Arizona and a roadie at Washington before they battle Philadelphia. Then they host Pittsburgh, play at Minnesota and Baltimore and host San Francisco.

All things considered, the NFC East champion might finish with only 7 or 8 wins this year.

Enjoy the ride.
