Cowboys vs Panthers Prediction: Odds, Expert Picks, QB Matchup, injury News, Betting Trends and Stats

NFL Week 15 preview: Cowboys vs. Panthers
Mike Florio and Chris Simms like what they have seen from the Dallas Cowboys as of late and feel their defense will be able to crowd the line of scrimmage against the favored Carolina Panthers in Week 15.

The Panthers are favorites for the first time all season as Carolina hosts the Dallas Cowboys.

Carolina is 3-10 on the season and lost three straight since the bye week. However, the Panthers lost all three games in close fashion to the Chiefs (30-27), Buccaneers (26-23 OT), and the Eagles (22-16). The Panthers have played up to its competition and QB Bryce Young is arguably having his best three-to-four-game stretch of his young career.

Dallas is 5-8 on the season and coming off a 27-20 home loss against the Bengals. That loss snapped a two-game winning streak for Dallas, which tied the longest of the season for the Cowboys. Cooper Rush remains under center for Dallas, but the real story of the offense has been the success of Rico Dowdle over the past three games (329).

NBC Sports Bet Best Bet

Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) likes Bryce Young to go Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns against Dallas:

“Bryce Young has only thrown two touchdowns in a game once this season, but the Panthers quarterback has improved week by week and his odds of +145 to go Over 1.5 passing touchdowns is juicy.

Young has thrown one touchdown pass in four straight games and the Cowboys aren’t exactly stopping many offenses. Joe Burrow tossed three scores, while Jayden Daniels and Jalen Hurts had two passing touchdowns each in three of the last five games versus Dallas. Drew Lock and CJ Stroud did not throw a touchdown against Dallas because of blowouts in different directions.

While Young is no Burrow, Daniels, or Hurts, he is capable of tossing two touchdowns against Dallas. The Panthers are favorites in this game and favored for the first time all season. I think they win this game and Young has one of his best performances of the year.”
