Klein

Klein inked a minor league contract with Atlanta last year, and wound up struggling in the lower rungs of the Braves’ minor league system, before being released in early August. The 24-year-old infielder latched on with the Windy City ThunderBolts of the independent Frontier League and hit .324/.351/.634 with six homers in 17 games to close out the year.

Klein was cut loose by the Nationals after appearing in 25 games with their Rookie-level Florida Coast League affiliate last year. The 23-year-old second baseman was a collegiate standout at Texas Tech.
