Jaguars put DL Brian Price (knee) and DL Dontavius Russell (hip) on injured reserve.
Jacksonville’s defensive depth has been wiped out over the past week after CB Rashaan Melvin, DE Lerentee McCray, and DT Al Woods opted out of the season. Meanwhile, franchise tagged DE Yannick Ngakoue is seeking a trade from Jacksonville and forgoing team activities. The team signed DT Caraun Reid and DB Tramaine Brock on Sunday. The Jaguars are shaping up as a defense for fantasy players to target this year.

  • FA Defensive Lineman #76
Jaguars signed DT Brian Price, OG Blake Hance, DE Chuck Harris, OT Ryan Pope, and CB Jayson Stanley to reserve/future contracts.
Price didn’t make any appearances this season after playing in 13 games (one start) between Cleveland and the Raiders last year. The Jaguars are adding some depth going into the offseason.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #76
Cowboys re-signed DT Brian Price to a two-year, $1.35 million contract.
Price was an exclusive rights free agent, so he did well to land a two-year deal, although the contract likely contains few if any guarantees. The tackle should compete for a rotational role in camp.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #76
Cowboys placed DT Brian Price (knee surgery) on injured reserve, ending his season.
The defensive tackle had been active for each of the Cowboys’ first eight games, playing 150 snaps. His loss comes at a position where the Cowboys have little-to-no depth. Price is a 2016 UDFA. He’ll turn 24 in June.
