Eagles signed Oklahoma DT Charles Walker.
Walker (6’2/310) made only four starts in three years at OU before turning pro, quitting the team four games into last season after suffering his third known concussion. Walker finished his career with 13 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. Walker was a plus run defender and pass rusher at five and three technique on the Sooners’ defensive line, but he offers minimal production and a questionable passion for football after his enigmatic exit. He only tested as a 22nd-percentile athlete in Indy. A true wildcard prospect, Walker is worth a flier for an Eagles team short on depth on the interior defensive line.
