Charlie Tilson went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and two runs scored in a win over the Royals on Sunday.
Tilson followed Eloy Jimenez’s monstrous solo homer in the second inning with a run-scoring double to increase the Sox lead to two. In the seventh and ninth innings it was Tilson’s turn to do the scoring, as he helped push the lead even higher. Finally healthy, the Sox are working in the speedy 26-year-old in their outfield rotation, and he’s responded by hitting .274/.336/.349 with a homer and three steals. He’s a better real-life player than a fantasy commodity, sadly.
