    Steelers released LB Marcus Allen.
Other notable cuts from Pittsburgh include offensive linemen Joe Haeg and Chaz Green. The Steelers re-signed Allen on an original-round tender worth $2.4 million this offseason. Allen entered the league as a safety but has since converted to playing mostly at linebacker when on defense. Normally, Allen gets the bulk of his snaps on special teams. He could join the Steelers’ practice squad once rosters are settled.

Steelers signed OL Chaz Green to a one-year contract.
Pittsburgh also made the signing of Melvin Ingram official. In a pair of corresponding moves, they released offensive tackle Jarron Jones and linebacker Calvin Bundage. Green started one game for the Colts last year after failing to appear in a single game in 2019. He’ll serve as a depth option for the Steelers if he can make the final roster.

  • FA Tackle
    Raiders released OL Chaz Green.
The Raiders needed to clear a roster spot for Richie Incognito, whom they are signing for some reason. Ex-Cowboy Green made four 2018 appearances in Oakland, including a start. He turned 27 last month.
  • FA Tackle
    Raiders signed OG Chaz Green.
Green was a Cowboys spot starter in 2016-17 but had some infamous performances. He will try to showcase himself for a spot on the Raiders’ 53-man roster in 2019.

    Raiders re-signed OL Chaz Green.
This is a depth signing for the Raiders. Green appeared in four games with one start last year, but he was one of the worst swing players in the league. Oakland also re-signed ERFA Jason Cabinda.
  • FA Tackle
    Broncos released OL Chaz Green.
It’s the second time Green has been pink-slipped in the past three months. Green only appeared in one game last year, drawing a start for the Raiders in place of injured LG Kelechi Osemele. The former Florida Gator is quickly running out of NFL chances.
  • FA Tackle
    Broncos signed OL Chaz Green.
The signing comes six days after Green was cut loose in favor of Richie Incognito in Oakland. Although Green is theoretically the 90th man on the Broncos’ roster right now, the ex-Cowboys reserve will have decent odds of cracking the 53-man group.
  • FA Tackle
Cowboys OT Chaz Green will undergo back surgery and miss the rest of the season.
Green made a pair of starts at left tackle earlier this season but hasn’t played since Week 4. A third-round pick last year, Green was hurt his entire rookie year.
  • FA Tackle
Cowboys OT Chaz Green is a candidate to replace Doug Free.
A 2015 third rounder, Green has missed most the last two seasons to injuries. With La’El Collins expected to stay at guard, he’s the in-house favorite to start at right tackle. Green has flashed when healthy, but is a major question mark coming off back surgery. Green isn’t a lock to be ready for OTAs.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said Chaz Green has “a great opportunity to win” the open right tackle job.
Following Doug Free’s retirement, the Cowboys are likely banking on Green living up to his third-round pedigree. Unfortunately, Green has been available for just four games through two seasons because of injury and is currently recovering from back surgery. It is not a given he is able to step up. New signing Byron Bell should also get a look, but Dallas might reluctantly be forced to move La’El Collins outside.
