USC redshirt freshman TE Jude Wolfe re-aggravated an ankle injury that he suffered earlier in the season during Saturday’s win at Arizona.
Wolfe (6'5/250), who caught two passes for five yards in the Trojans’ season-opening win over Arizona State, re-injured his ankle during Saturday’s comeback win in Tucson. It’s unknown if the redshirt freshman, who was in the mix for quality reps, will have to miss an extended period of time due to the injury. USC doesn’t utilize the tight end much in its offense, with Erik Krommenhoek’s fourth-quarter touchdown reception being the position’s only statistical contribution in the win over Arizona. USC is scheduled to visit Utah on Saturday.

  • Four-star 2017 TE Erik Krommenhoek committed to USC.
“I loved my visit there, felt really comfortable with the players, with the school,” Krommenhoek said. “The academics part of it is a big reason why I chose it and they have a great sports medicine program which is what I want to be when I grow up.” While both of his parents are UCLA alums, they were in complete support of their son’s decision to commit to the rival Trojans. ESPN notes that the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder’s best attribute is his blocking. They believe that he actually has the potential to shift over to the offensive line if he adds the necessary weight.
