Former Texas redshirt sophomore WR Kelvontay Dixon commits to #SMU.
The Mustangs bested Auburn and Texas Tech for the pledge of the former four-star recruit. Dixon posted a mere three receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown over his two active years on the roster. SMU was looking for pass-catchers after losing WRs Danny Gray and Reggie Roberson Jr., and TE Grant Calcaterra, to the NFL. The 6-foot, 182-pound Dixon has three years of eligibility remaining.
