Eagles signed sixth-round pick QB Kyle McCord to a four-year contract.
The four-year rookie deal is worth $4.46 million. McCord will now spend the next four months jockeying for the No. 2 position on the depth chart with the Eagles’ 2023 sixth-round pick, QB Tanner McKee, and free agent-signee, QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson. McCord possesses a strong arm and solid pocket awareness. Regardless of his ultimate depth chart landing spot, he should be a fun preseason performer. The Eagles also announced the signings of LB Smael Mondon Jr., OT Myles Hinton and OLB Antwaun Powell-Ryland.
  • PHI Tackle #78
Eagles selected Michigan OT Myles Hinton with the No. 191 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
This Michigan man is the son of former No. 4 overall pick Chris Hinton, who went to the Colts in the John Elway trade. The younger Hinton moved from Stanford to Michigan following the departure of David Shaw. He made 16 starts at right tackle over three years before transferring. Hinton was a backup in 2023 and took over as the Wolverines’ starting left tackle in 2024. Hinton barely tested at all at Michigan’s Pro Day or the NFL Combine and had just a 69.9 PFF offensive grade for the Wolverines in 2024. He’s a viable third-day pick based on size (6-foot-6, 342 pounds) and bloodline, but there’s not really a standout trait or skill for his team to hang their hat on here.
  • PHI OFFENSIVE TACKLE (SUB) #78
ESPN’s Tom Luginbill compared Stanford five-star 2020 T Myles Hinton to Auburn T Prince Tega Wanogho.
“Like Wanogho [coming out of high school], Hinton is far from a finished product, but his natural length, flexibility and overall athleticism make for a high ceiling,” Luginbill writes. He notes that Wanogho struggled with technique, as well as a lack of functional strength, early in his career with the Tigers before hitting the developmental afterburners. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Hinton committed to Stanford in early January and ranks as ESPN’s No. 15 overall prospect in the 2020 class.
  • PHI OFFENSIVE TACKLE (SUB) #78
Stanford received a verbal commitment from five-star 2020 T Myles Hinton.
A lovely early pledge for the Cardinal. Hinton (6'6/310) was also considering Michigan -- his older brother, Chris, signed with UM as a four-star defensive end prospect in December -- but ultimately opted to take his pledge out west. He told Rivals that he zeroed in on the Cardinal back in the fall. Rivals ranks Hinton as the No. 17 overall prospect in the 2020 class. The Norcross, Georgia, native soars as the outlet’s No. 2 tackle prospect for the cycle.
  • PHI OFFENSIVE TACKLE (SUB) #78
Uncommitted five-star 2020 T Myles Hinton named Michigan, Georgia, Clemson, Northwestern and Stanford his top five programs.
Michigan’s in an intriguing spot, here, as they already have a commitment from Hinton’s older brother Chris, a five-star defensive end in the 2019 class. The Wolverines are extending themselves in order to try to secure these pledges, as the Hintons hail from the state of Georgia. This is far from a done deal for Michigan, though, and Hinton (Myles) has a sizable chunk of time ahead of him before he truly needs to get down to brass tacks with a decision. Whomever ultimately reels him in will be landing a potential future star -- Rivals ranks him as the No. 1 tackle prospect in the 2020 class.
