Georgia is the consensus No. 1 team in the country, but can they stay there with a brutal schedule that includes not just their SEC rivals but also a trip to Arizona State in September and the annual clash with Georgia Tech to end the season?My bet is they can, and their schedule just got a little easier.OK, a tiny bit easier. As in, the easiest game on their schedule is now even more of a cakewalk.Georgia Southern suspended eight players, including two starters, for the August 30 season opener against Georgia. Coach Chris Hatcher said in a statement that the suspensions are the result of a “violation of institutional rules."The Bulldogs ought to be favored by somewhere around five touchdowns.
