Arizona State will be without All-American kicker Thomas Weber for the next five or six games, head coach Dennis Erickson announced today.
Weber suffered an injury to his groin during practice and missed this past Saturday’s game.
True freshman walk-on Bobby Wenzig will replace the 2007 Groza Award winner on placekicks. Linebacker Mike Nixon could be called upon to help out on kickoffs.
