Michigan’s Jeremy Gallon goes OFF on Hoosiers

Normally, the words “Michigan” and “receiving records” aren’t seen in the same sentence, unless the words “not” and “setting” are included.

Today, though, is an entirely different story.

Through three quarters against Indiana, wide receiver Jeremy Gallon has accounted for 343 yards receiving. Again, that 343 number is through three quarters of play, in a game that is 49-40 in favor of Michigan as of this posting and thus close enough for the potential for 400 -- hell, 500 -- to very much exist.

Gallon’s yardage total represents both a school and Big Ten record. To put his performance in perspective, the senior came into the IU game with 462 yards receiving in six games this season.

Obviously, Devin Gardner is having a huge day as well, with the quarterback’s 422 yards passing setting a school record.

UPDATED 7:36 p.m. ET: Gallon finished with 369 yards receiving and Gardner 503 yards passing as the Wolverines held on for a wild 63-47 win.
