MICHIGAN’S OFFENSE IS A MESS

If you missed Michigan’s 25-23 loss to Utah at the Big House, here’s the nickel summary: Michigan’s offense is every bit as big a mess as we all thought it would be, and the defense got off to a slow first half.I still think Michigan’s defense is very good, and I still think that because of that defense, the Wolverines have a chance to finish the season in the Top 25. But it was a bad start for Rich Rodriguez’s spread offense.Last year’s loss to Appalachian State to start the season left the fans at the Big House looking shocked, but as I watched those same fans this year, I got the sense that they were sort of resigned to the fact that their team is going to go through some growing pains in 2008. Those growing pains were on display today.
