Nation’s leading receiver in yards, TDs should be a go for Bedlam

Ahead of arguably the biggest game in the history of the football program, it appears the whole of Oklahoma State Nation can breathe a huge sigh of relief tonight.

Their All-Everything receiver appears none the worse for wear after getting nicked over the weekend.

According to Tulsa World, wide receiver Justin Blackmon will likely be limited in practice this week with an ankle injury, especially during the early portion of the week, but is expected to play Saturday against Oklahoma. A source told the paper that head coach Mike Gundy “doesn’t seem concerned” about the injury suffered in the win over Kansas.

Blackmon is currently first in the country in receiving yards (1,560) and receiving touchdowns (17, while he’s second in receptions (94).

With a win over the Sooners, the Cowboys would claim the Big 12 South title and face either Nebraska or Missouri in the conference title game.
