Ohio State’s leading RB ‘doubtful’ for Nebraska game

After missing the first two games of the season recovering from foot surgery, Ohio State running back Jordan Hall is likely to miss at least a little more time this season.

Urban Meyer announced on Monday that Hall has a PCL tear in his knee and is doubtful for Saturday’s game against Nebraska. Hall suffered the injury during Saturday’s 17-16 win over Michigan State.

The Buckeyes have had health issues at running back this season. Hall missed the first two games of the year after stepping on glass over the summer -- that required 10 weeks of recovery time -- and Carlos Hyde missed two games with a sprained MCL. Hyde was able to return for Saturday’s game against Sparty and ran for 49 yards.

Hall is the team’s second-leading rusher through five games, and first among running backs, with 218 yards and a touchdown.
