Just a couple of months ago, there were some more-than-mild concerns about Navorro Bowman‘s future at Penn State. In April, Bowman had violated terms of his probation -- probation for a 2008 disorderly conduct conviction -- by admitting that he had smoked marijuana. That violation led to the talented linebacker being suspended for the Nittany Lions’ spring game.Since that misstep, however, Bowman appears to have gotten his life back together and is seemingly back in the good graces of the coaching staff.According to the Associated Press, head coach Joe Paterno “appears satisfied with how the linebacker has handled himself of late."And linebacker Sean Lee, who is recovering from a torn ACL that forced him to miss the entire 2009 season, has his teammate’s back as well."Bowman will be fine. ... He’s a guy if you come to workouts who is always working hard, always up front,” linebacker and captain Sean Lee said. “I think he’ll be ready to go come this season.”
