Florida’s twin -- literally -- offensive line tandem, Maurkice and Mike Pouncey, are two of several Gators who could decide to bolt Gainesville early for NFL riches following the Sugar Bowl.
As far as the offensive linemen’s line of thinking go, a decision on their football future is very simple -- if they are guaranteed to go in the first two rounds of the draft, they’ll both be gone.
“If I’m not going to be in the second round I’m coming back,” Mike said. “I’ll come back to play center next year to improve my draft stock.”
Both of the Pounceys have submitted their paperwork to the NFL for evaluation, and it’s believed center Maurkice will come back with a higher projection than his guard brother.
