Well that did not take too long. The seemingly unpopular change in logo and uniform at Florida State in the offseason could already be getting some modifications to it to appease fans of the Seminoles.
Jeff Cameron of 97.7 ESPN Radio in Tallahassee says via Twitter changes are being made to address some concerns about the Florida State football uniforms after some concerns about the look on television last weekend. The new spear logo will remain, but Florida State will look to make the finish of the helmet closer to the signature golden helmet that has been used for years. The numbers will remain in the new style on the uniforms, but the colors may be adjusted for the familiar garnet.
The new look for Florida State was met with some poor feedback by many Florida State fans. This may be a sign that Florida State is admitting they ay have gone too far with changing a classic look. As long as Florida State goes back to a shiny gold-finish on the helmet, I’ll be happy.
