It looks like USC finally has its defensive line coach.
A few days their first choice, Bo Davis, got poached by Alabama, the Trojans hired away Georgia defensive line coach Chris Wilson, according to a report on Wednesday night by CoachingSearch.com.
Wilson spent one season at Georgia as the D-line coach after serving as the defensive coordinator for Mississippi State the three years prior. Wilson also coached defensive line at Oklahoma and Colorado.
He should be a good fit in USC’s 3-4 defense and give the Trojans some added recruiting contacts in the South.
