West Virginia starting defensive lineman Scooter Berry was arrested over the weekend following an incident outside of a Morgantown nightclub.
Shortly after his arrest, Berry was hit with an indefinite suspension by head coach Bill Stewart.
Now, Berry has turned to Twitter to offer up a mea culpa to the fans of the program.
“Just want2 apologize to all the fans and supporters of the WV Football team..Unfortunately I slipped up Saturday night and made not only [m]yself but my brothers and the program look bad..I’m willing to take responsibility for my actions and will be dealt with accordingly”
Berry was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
