With Wisconsin getting set to take on Purdue this afternoon in Madison, the Badgers have some very positive news for the offense. Running back Corey Clement has reportedly been cleared to play for the Badgers.

Clement has played in just one game for Wisconsin this season. Clement carried the football eight times in the season opener in Arlington, texas against Alabama, going for just 16 rushing yards. Clement has since been sidelined with a groin injury that has lingered.
Clement’s return comes at a good time, as the Badgers could use a spark running the football. Wisconsin ranks 11th in the 14-team Big Ten in rushing offense. If he plays, Clement should have a nice return to the field as well. Purdue is ranked 14th in the Big Ten in rushing defense, allowing 215.17 yards per game on the ground. Minnesota rushed for 326 yards against the Boilermakers last week.
