NBA veteran Corey Brewer is still hopeful to land another contract.
“We had some talks with a few teams, but nothing really happened. My agent is still working on it, so we’ll see,” Brewer said. “I feel like I can still help a team and I feel like I have a few good years left. But you never know, man. It’s a lot of young guys now. But we’ll see what happens.” Now 34 years old, Brewer has played for eight different NBA teams with career averages of 8.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 dimes and 1.3 steals. He used to be a beast in transition, but since he’s lost a step and doesn’t have a reliable perimeter shot, the chances of him landing another contract are slim.
