Titans signed fifth-round OLB D’Andre Walker to a four-year contract.

Walker was a one-year starter and four-year contributor at Georgia, logging 27.5 career TFLs with 13.5 sacks. If not for an offseason sports hernia surgery, Walker, who offers outside-rush abilities and also holds up well against the run, may have been drafted a tad higher. The Titans also locked up sixth-round LB David Long Jr. out of West Virginia on Thursday.

Titans fifth-round OLB D’Andre Walker (thigh) expects to be ready for the start of training camp.

Walker skipped some pre-draft workouts due to sports hernia surgery. He may be limited in OTAs, but his camp status was never in doubt. Walker will need to stay healthy to compete for a sub-package role.

Titans selected Georgia DE D’Andre Walker with the No. 168 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Walker (6’2/251) was a one-year starter and four-year contributor on the Bulldogs’ front, logging 27.5 career TFLs with 13.5 sacks and five forced fumbles. Walker’s pre-draft workouts were limited by offseason sports hernia surgery, but his game tape reveals an edge-bending outside-rush backer who also holds up well against the run. A power player with plus length (34 3/8"), Walker reminds of old Steelers OLB LaMarr Woodley. He’ll compete for a rotational role behind Jurrell Casey with DaQuan Jones, Darius Kilgo, and Matt Dickerson.
