    Raiders waived DE Darius Latham.
A third-year UDFA, Latham went undrafted due in part to character concerns. He served a four-game ban for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy last season. He made just three appearances. Latham turns 24 in November.

Raiders DE Darius Latham’s four-game suspension is over.
The Raiders are on bye this week, but Latham will be eligible to play Week 11 against the Patriots if Oakland decides to activate him. The undrafted sophomore had just started getting snaps before the suspension.

Raiders signed Indiana DL Darius Latham.
Latham (6'4/311) made 20 starts in three years at IU, tallying 18.5 career tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. He earned honorable mention All-Big Ten as a 2015 true junior, then turned pro. Latham struggled with suspensions and play-to-play consistency with the Hoosiers, but offers big-time run-stuffing and some interior pass-rushing potential as a long-armed (34 3/4") space eater with powerful hands. Latham could settle in as a useful reserve.

NFL suspended Raiders DE Darius Latham four games for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
A second-year UDFA out of Indiana, Latham had just broken into the Raiders’ defensive line rotation with 15 snaps in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens.
