  • Redskins TE Deangelo Peterson broke his right foot during Wednesday’s OTA practice.
The 6-foot-4, 243-pound former LSU Tiger spent all of 2012 on the Redskins’ practice squad. It’s typically a four-to-six week recovery, so Peterson could be ready for training camp. We still might see him get waived/injured.
  • Broncos waived TE Deangelo Peterson, DE Lanston Tanyi, C Quentin Saulsberry, WR Kemonte Bateman, CB Mario Butler, OT Manase Foketi, QB Ryan Katz, LB Uona Kaveinga, and CB Nigel Malone.
They also waived/injured WRs Quincy McDuffie and Greg Orton. Peterson is a former UDFA out of LSU. Saulsberry’s fate was likely sealed all the way back in May, when he was arrested on drunk-driving charges.
  • Broncos signed TE Deangelo Peterson, formerly of the Redskins.
Peterson, a former UDFA out of LSU, was waived/injured by Washington after breaking his right foot at OTAs. He’s likely just a practice body in Denver.
