Diamondbacks signed 2B Drew Stankiewicz to a minor league contract.
Stankiewicz split time between a pair of Mexican League clubs before signing a minor league pact with the Twins last June. The 28-year-old second baseman hit .253/.337/.390 with two homers and one stolen base over 45 games at Triple-A St. Paul to close out the 2021 campaign. He’ll provide the Diamondbacks with some additional organizational infield depth heading into next season.
