He’ll attempt to crack the Phillies’ Opening Day bullpen as a left-handed specialist with a strong showing in the spring.

    The Dodgers also sent struggling outfielder Joc Pederson to OKC, placed Yu Darvish (back) on the 10-day DL and activated Curtis Granderson, who was acquired late last night in a trade with the Mets. Paredes has contributed 2 1/3 scoreless innings in the big leagues this year. He’ll function as a middle relief arm/left-handed specialist.
