Bills UDFA Eric Striker has been getting first-team reps at right outside linebacker.
Striker is taking advantage of Manny Lawson’s (pectoral) absence. Striker stuffed the stat-sheet at Oklahoma, but has 4.80 wheels and questionable all-around athleticism. Getting first-team reps is an indication he has the inside track to a 53-man roster spot, but his rookie contributions will most likely come on special teams if he makes the club.

Bills signed Oklahoma OLB Eric Striker.
Striker (5'11/227) made 39 starts for Oklahoma, earning second-team All-America as a senior and finishing his career with 46.5 tackles for loss, 23 sacks, and two forced fumbles. Although Striker was extremely productive in college, his athleticism falls short of NFL caliber with 4.80 speed and weak agility scores. Before the draft, NFL scouts debated whether Striker should play on the edge, 4-3 outside linebacker, or strong safety. A classic tweener, Striker may struggle to find an NFL home.
