Christian Walker (hip) comes off bench in win

Tucker is back in right field and hitting fifth after sitting out Sunday’s series finale against the Giants with a right leg contusion. It doesn’t appear to be a significant concern heading into the home stretch of the regular season. The 29-year-old former fantasy star has shown some real signs of life recently, hitting .313 (15-for-48) with five homers and one steal over his last 15 games.

Davidson went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored during his major-league debut at Oracle Park on Monday night. The 24-year-old rising prospect is worthy of a speculative pickup in deeper mixed leagues for the final week of the season since he figures to continue hitting in the middle of San Francisco’s lineup.

Barrosa figures to stick around with Houston for the final week of the regular season after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 25-year-old went 1-for-7 in four games after being claimed off waivers from the Diamondbacks earlier this month.

No word on the exact reason why, but Burrows apparently won’t make another start this season. He tossed a pair of scoreless innings during a rehab appearance for Triple-A Sugar Land over the weekend. He’s been on the injured list with elbow and shoulder issues since mid-July.

Karros is back at third base and hitting sixth after being scratched from Sunday’s lineup with back spasms. The 24-year-old corner infielder is hitting .258 with 12 homers and five steals in 125 games this season.

Kuroda-Grauer will get a couple additional games under his belt in the majors to close out the season with Max Muncy heading to the shelf with a knee injury. The 23-year-old rookie is back after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured testicle back in late July. He was hitting .417 (25-for-60) through 16 games prior to the unfortunate injury.

We’re not medical professionals, so we had to look this one up. Basically, Muncy is dealing with a cartilage issue under his kneecap and will miss the remainder of the season. The 24-year-old finishes with a .230/.296/.387 slash line with nine homers and three steals in 284 plate appearances.

It’s merely a procedural move to open up a spot on the Athletics’ 40-man roster with Ginn finished for the year with an elbow impingement.

Edwards takes a seat for the second straight contest after exiting Saturday’s game against the Padres with left thumb discomfort. The fact that he hasn’t been placed on the injured list yet qualifies as an encouraging development. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day heading into the final week of the season. It’ll be Jared Serna at second base in his absence.

All signs point to Bregman, who went through a light workout prior to Tuesday’s game against the Marlins, avoiding a trip to the injured list. It’s an extremely positive update after he suffered multiple facial fractures when he was struck by a foul ball in the on-deck circle over the weekend. The 32-year-old third baseman is at least a couple days away from getting back into Chicago’s lineup, but it’s possible he’s back before the postseason gets underway next week. It’ll be rookie Pedro Ramírez taking over at the hot corner in his absence on Tuesday night.
