Max Muncy supplied both Dodgers runs with a fourth-inning homer off Zack Wheeler in a 2-1 win over the Phillies on Tuesday.

Muncy’s 421-foot homer was his 19th of the year and 228th as a Dodger. That ties him with Ron Cey for fifth place on the franchise’s all-time list. Next up is Roy Campanella at 242. Duke Snider (389), Gil Hodges (361) and Eric Karros (270) make up the top three.

White Sox claimed C Jake Rogers off waivers from the Red Sox.

Rogers figures to start while Kyle Teel is out assuming the White Sox haven’t suddenly become re-enamored with Edgar Quero. The White Sox had already attempted to replace Quero with Joey Bart, but Bart broke a bone in his hand in his first game with the White Sox in Boston. There’s little fantasy value here, but Rogers landed in a good spot for playing time.

Giants recall OF Jonah Cox from Triple-A Sacramento.

Cox hit .269/.269/.500 in 29 plate appearances with the Giants earlier this year and was raking to the tune of a .468/.519/.660 line in Sacramento after being sent down earlier this month. Presumably he’ll get more of a look in the bigs this time. The 25-year-old stole 21 bases in 55 minor-league games this year and could help out fantasy managers in that category.
