Max Muncy supplied both Dodgers runs with a fourth-inning homer off Zack Wheeler in a 2-1 win over the Phillies on Tuesday.

Muncy’s 421-foot homer was his 19th of the year and 228th as a Dodger. That ties him with Ron Cey for fifth place on the franchise’s all-time list. Next up is Roy Campanella at 242. Duke Snider (389), Gil Hodges (361) and Eric Karros (270) make up the top three.

The homer off Antonio Senzatela gave the Dodgers a 4-2 lead in the sixth and was his record 131st at Dodger Stadium. Even though the ballpark has been open since 1962, Eric Karros had been the stadium leader at 130.

Max Muncy hit his 20th homer of the year, a two-run shot off Aaron Nola, in the Dodgers’ 9-5 win over the Phillies on Wednesday.

The homer broke a 3-3 tie in the sixth. Muncy passed Ron Cey with his 228th homer as a Dodger, moving him into fourth place in franchise history. He’s 14 behind Roy Campanella for third place.

Kyle Tucker is not in the lineup for Monday’s series opener against the Phillies.

Max Muncy is also taking a seat with Phillies ace Cristopher Sánchez toeing the rubber for his second-half debut. It’s been a rocky opening season for Tucker in Los Angeles as he’s struggled to a lackluster .240/.335/.367 slash line with seven homers and six RBI across 394 plate appearances in 94 games. It’ll be a red-hot Tommy Edman at the hot corner and batting third with Alex Call getting a look in right field.

Max Muncy went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in a 2-1 win over the Yankees on Friday.

On a quiet night for both offenses, Muncy’s homer was the difference in this game. He stepped up to the plate with the Dodgers down 1-0 in the seventh against Gerrit Cole and Mookie Betts on first base. It took a seven-pitch battle, but Cole eventually hung a slider and Muncy sent it a long way over the right field fence. That was his 18th home run of the season to go along with an .853 OPS in an excellent season so far for the left-handed slugger.

The White Sox had already attempted to replace Quero with Joey Bart, but Bart broke a bone in his hand in his first game with the White Sox in Boston. There’s little fantasy value here, but Rogers landed in a good spot for playing time.
