Ramón Urías (elbow) begins rehab assignment

Fedde gave up five hits, walked one and struck out two. He had trouble keeping the ball in the ballpark as three of the five hits Fedde allowed were home runs. The 33-year-old right-hander has a 4.25 ERA, but doesn’t have much fantasy value outside of AL-Only leagues. He’s lined up to face the Rays on the road next weekend.

Peralta struck out three in the 93-pitch outing, lowering his ERA to 4.99. This might’ve been his last start with the Mets, but he hasn’t done himself any favors with his trade value lately. The impending free agent has his highest ERA and lowest strikeout rate since becoming a full-time starter in 2021. His next start lines up against the Marlins if he isn’t dealt or pushed back.

Sheehan struck out five in the 87-pitch outing. He departed with the lead, but the Dodgers’ bullpen surrendered it as they went on to lose 8-3. Sheehan didn’t give up any homers, which have been an issue with such a low grounder rate, but his 4.95 ERA through late July is a disappointing fantasy outcome. He’ll look to get rolling in his next scheduled start, at home versus the red-hot Red Sox.

Taylor’s three-run shot gave New York the lead after the team trailed 3-1. He has five homers this month and has performed well in a limited sample. He’s a trade candidate at the August 3 deadline.

Ewing has been the team’s leadoff hitter in all but one game since July 6. The Mets are committed to building around him and fellow rookie Carson Benge, so this role should last through the August 3 deadline sell-off. Ewing had been off to a slow start in the second half, but he’s held his own overall as a 21-year-old rookie. The 11 stolen bases are nice, but he’s been caught six times. He’d ideally clean up that efficiency over the season’s final two months.

Semien’s homer came in the seventh inning and gave the club some insurance runs. It has been a brutal season at the plate for the 35-year-old, who was acquired over the offseason for Brandon Nimmo. He’s off the fantasy radar heading into the final two months of the regular season.

Clemens had a little league home run in the first inning. He hit a triple to right field and the throw from the shortstop Alika Williams hit Clemens before bouncing far enough away from him to scoot home. In the seventh inning, he tripled again with one out and scored on a sacrifice fly. Clemens continues to sell out for power at the plate. He’s hitting .243 with a .246 ISO, which are both on pace to be career-highs.

Kurtz’ home run was his 21st of the season. He hit a three-run home run off Cole Sands in the sixth inning. Kurtz’ home run was his first since July 3rd against the Marlins. Entering play Sunday, he was 0-for-22 with 13 strikeouts and no walks in his last six games. Kurtz is hitting .264 with a .901 OPS and 69 RBI.

Prielipp gave up two hits, walked one and struck out five. He improved to 3-5 with the win. Prielipp spent the last two weeks on the IL with a blister on his pitching hand, but returned with an excellent start against the A’s on Sunday. He has a 4.73 ERA. Prielipp is lined up to face the Mariners on the road next weekend.

Massey’s home run was his eighth of the season. He hit a two-run shot off Tigers reliever Drew Sommers to put the Royals ahead 5-4 in the eighth inning. Massey had previously entered the game as a pinch hitter once left-hander Tigers starter Framber Valdez was out of the game. The Tigers had the matchup they wanted in the eighth inning with the left-handed Sommers on the mound, but Massey drilled a breaking ball deep into the right field seats. He’s hitting .274 with a .752 OPS and 36 RBI.
