Rafael Devers underwent successful core muscle surgery on Tuesday.
Giants manager Tony Vitello said Devers will require three months to recover following the procedure, which puts him on track to have a relatively normal offseason and be ready for the start of spring training. He finished his first full season in San Francisco hitting .258/.340/.525 with 88 runs scored, 37 homers and 98 RBI over 633 plate appearances. He’ll enter his age-30 campaign on the heels of consecutive 30-homer seasons and will be an early-round selection in all fantasy drafts.
