Kyle Stowers went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI to lead the Marlins to an 8-7 win over the Nationals on Saturday.
Stowers broke out with his best game at the plate, starting with a double in the first inning. He then took Zack Littell deep for a two-run blast in the fourth for his first home run of the season. Stowers later added a single and a run scored in the eighth. The 28-year-old slugger is hitting .239/.320/.343 with one homer, ten runs scored, and three RBI across 75 plate appearances.
