Jarvis appeared in two games for the Braves, going 1-for-5. He’s expendable now that Ha-Seong Kim is back from the injured list.

It’s the continuation of a full-on breakout for the 23-year-old superstar. Wood flashed this upside in the first half of 2025 before fading down the stretch, but this year the entire Washington lineup has come along for the ride. It entered Sunday tied with the Dodgers and Brewers for the most runs per game. Wood ranks top-four in MLB in fWAR, OBP, and home runs while easily leading the league in runs scored. He has started and hit leadoff in every game for the Nationals in 2026.

Mikolas didn’t walk anyone, lowering his ERA to 5.29. PJ Poulin served as an opener as Mikolas hasn’t made an official start since May 12. The performance was impressive, but the veteran righty will remain well off the fantasy radar in his next outing against the Rays on the road.

Hancock struck out two and didn’t walk anyone, increasing his ERA to 3.28. He gave up a solo homer to James Wood in the first and later unraveled, allowing five earned in the fourth. The right-hander has been fantastic in 2026, but he was due for some regression. That it came against the highest-scoring offense in MLB isn’t a surprise. Hancock has allowed more than three earned runs in a start just twice this year, including Sunday, a season-high in runs allowed. Seattle continues to have some of the best starting pitching depth in the majors, and Hancock will look to bounce back at home against the Red Sox next time out.

The performance lifted his OPS over .800 this season. Ruiz’s plate discipline remains poor, but he makes up for it with plus-plus contact skills. So far in 2026, he has combined more fly balls with a higher HR/FB%, but he has also severely overperformed his expected stats. Ruiz has done well to turn his career around under the new regime in Washington, but he’s still not a must-roster fantasy option. Expect him to continue splitting catching duties with Drew Millas.

Nuñez doesn’t start every game, but he continues to serve as Washington’s primary second baseman. The 25-year-old remains without a homer while leading MLB with 25 stolen bases. The speed would play up more in fantasy if it didn’t come alongside a .201 batting average and a .510 OPS. The absence of power or batting average makes him a non-factor in most roto formats. His best use case is likely streaming stolen bases in H2H leagues with daily lineups.

Young is only hitting .237 with a .676 OPS, but he’s done well to increase his bat speed and barrel rate so far in 2026. What used to be dormant batted-ball impact now comes with respectable thump. He has eight homers on the year after entering the season with five in his career. Young stole 33 bases back in 2024 but isn’t running at nearly the same clip anymore. As is, he’s an option for deeper mixed leagues.

Muñoz was brought in to get some work despite the Mariners trailing by seven runs, and he faced just two batters before exiting with a trainer. The Mariners are calling the 27-year-old day-to-day, but it’s obviously plausible that the team will need to make a roster move if Muñoz is unavailable for the coming few days. Jose Ferrer and Eduardo Bazardo would likely see the save chances for Seattle.

Osuna will take the place of the injured Michael Helman (hand) on the Rangers’ active roster. The 23-year-old has hit .253/.376/.275 with zero homers, nine RBI and four stolen bases in 110 plate appearances with the Rangers this season.

Helman suffered multiple fractures in his hand when he was hit by a 99-mph sinker from Tayron Guerrero on Saturday night. No word yet on how long he’ll need to be sidelined for. Alejandro Osuna was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move on Sunday.

The 27-year-old right-hander was brought in to start the eighth inning just to get some work in. He wound up facing just two batters, walking Jorbit Vivas and giving up an RBI double to Cole Young before being visited by the training staff and ultimately removed. It’s unclear exactly what occurred here, but the Mariners should have an update on Muñoz’s status after the game concludes. With Matt Brash also shelved, either Jose Ferrer or Eduard Bazardo would be the next man up to see save chances if Muñoz is forced to miss any time.
