NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein compared Alabama EDGE Anfernee Jennings to New England Patriots LB Kyle Van Noy.
“Stand-up 3-4 outside linebacker with an average rush, but good strength and technique at the point of attack,” Zierlein writes of the 6-foot-2, 256-pounder, adding that “Jennings knows what it takes to win and plays assignment-oriented football using length and physicality to set hard edges.” Jennings had to work his way through a knee injury in 2017 and results from his medical checks could very well end up playing a part in his ultimate draft slot.

Browns signed WR Tylan Wallace, formerly of the Ravens.
Wallace was a valued special teams contributor and pass-catching depth piece for the Ravens since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The 26-year-old has one touchdown reception each of the last two seasons and a punt return for a touchdown in 2023. He reunites with Todd Monken in Cleveland, where he will compete for special teams snaps.
Broncos may be more deserving AFC West favorite
Jay Croucher and Trysta Krick examine the odds to win the AFC West and why bettors should take a hard look at Denver with the amount of uncertainty surrounding Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
  • CLE Defensive End #57
Browns signed EDGE A.J. Epenesa, formerly of the Bills, to a one-year, $5 million contract.
Epenesa is a former second-round pick of the Bills, spending six seasons in Buffalo. He tallied 24 sacks over that time and intercepted two passes last season. The Browns bring in Epenesa to be depth on the edge, giving him a contract worth up to $5 million for the 2026 season.
  • CLE Defensive End #53
    Browns re-signed EDGE Julian Okwara.
Okwara first joined the Browns last offseason and spent the 2025 season on the practice squad. The 28-year-old is a former third-round pick of the Lions and had his best season in 2021, when he tallied five sacks with Detroit. He re-joins Cleveland and will compete for a role on the active roster.
  • NFL Commissioner
ESPN’s Kevin Seifert reports the NFL is “laying groundwork for hiring replacement officials” for the 2026 season.
Seifert notes that if the league cannot agree on a new collective bargaining agreement with the NFL Referees Association, replacement officials will be considered for the 2026 season. The league is looking for a list of “about 150 mostly small college officials” in its approach to prepare for not reaching an agreement. This approach is similar to what occurred during the 2012 lockout of officials, which ended after Week 3 of the regular season. The current CBA expires at the end of May, putting a timeline on the NFL’s decision to consider replacement officials.
  • DET Wide Receiver #4
Lions signed WR Greg Dortch, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
Dortch is following new Lions OC Drew Petzing from Arizona to Detroit. He turned 29 catches into 206 yards and three scores last year. Dortch is primarily a slot receiver and Amon-Ra St. Brown has the role locked down. At best, the former Cardinal will give ARSB the occasional breather. He could be an interesting PPR option if anything happens to St. Brown, but that isn’t something early fantasy drafters should plan for.
  • FA Linebacker #55
Logan Wilson retired from the NFL after six seasons.
A former third-round pick, Wilson spent all but the final seven games of his career with the Bengals. He started his career as a backup in 2020 but earned a full-time role by his second season. He would go on to start 65 games in Cincinnati before they traded him to Dallas last year. Wilson racked up 565 combined tackles, 11 interceptions, and 5.5 sacks over his six seasons.
  • CLG Running Back
ESPN’s Adam Schefter said he would be surprised if the Titans draft Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love.
Speaking on the creatively titled “The Adam Schefter Podcast”, Schefty said Love watch begins at pick No. 5 with the Giants. He closed out Love’s range at pick No. 9 with the Chiefs. Kansas City just inked Kenneth Walker to a massive deal, though Schefter doesn’t believe that rules them out entirely. The Giants hit on Cam Skattebo in last year’s draft, but the rookie suffered a catastrophic ankle injury that ended his debut campaign early. Love could be in play if they are worried about his ability to come back from the injury.
  • FA Wide Receiver
T.Y. Hilton announced his retirement from the NFL after 11 seasons.
Hilton hasn’t played since 2022, so this is a bit of a formality. Still, he deserves a proper retirement blurb. Hilton spent all but one of his 11 seasons with the Colts. His final season came in Dallas and amounted to just 121 yards on seven grabs. He amassed 638 grabs for 9,812 yards and 53 touchdowns during his career. The speedy wideout peaked at an NFL-leading 1,448 yards in 2016. He was also a successful punt and kick returner early in his career.
  • IND Linebacker #27
Colts signed LB Akeem Davis-Gaither, formerly of the Cardinals.
Davis-Gaither spent the first five years of his career in Cincinnati before singing with the Cardinals last offseason. He started 13 games and appeared in all 17. Davis-Gaither totaled 117 combined tackles with two TFLs and one forced fumble. The team released him at the end of the year. He now reunites with Colts DC Lou Anarumo, who was Cincy’s defensive coordinator when Davis-Gaither played for them.
  • IND Wide Receiver #18
Colts signed WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, formerly of the Dolphins.
NWI posted a minor breakout season with the Titans in 2024. He turned 32 grabs in 497 yards and nine touchdowns. The Dolphins took a shot on him in free agency, but he failed to carve out a role in Miami. Westbrook-Ikhine totaled 11 catches for 89 scoreless yards in South Beach. He will now serve as a depth piece for a Colts receiver room that just traded Michael Pittman.
