Colts owner Jim Irsay called for “Instant replay for all calls, including penalties, in the last two minutes of all games.”
Team officials are not allowed to publicly comment on the NFL’s communications on calls with teams, but Irsay tweeted that the NFL admitted to not making correct calls at the end of Week 7’s Colts-Browns game. He called to institute instant replay on penalties in the last two minutes of games in the tweet. Refereeing has faced scrutiny at times recently and now a team owner has publicly stated a belief in instituting penalty instant replays.

The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia believes DJ Moore “became a decoy running clearout routes” quite a bit in the second half of the season.
He points out that Moore and Caleb Williams didn’t jive early in the season because Williams wasn’t delivering on-time passes often enough early in the year, and then Moore became less emphasized in their offense later in the season. It is, to some extent, Buscaglia’s job to sell this trade to Bills fans after the cost ballooned to a second-round pick and guaranteed money in 2028. Still, we mostly believe in his film study, and the contract and cost all point to Moore being the focal point of the passing game in 2026. We’d bet he enters the fantasy WR3 sphere for sure and wouldn’t be surprised if WR2 production was on the table.
TE Smith can regain fantasy value with right team
No longer part of an "ugly" fantasy situation with the Steelers, Denny Carter lays out why tight end Jonnu Smith could regain his fantasy "viability" with the right offense in 2026.
  • BAL Center #64
Jordan Schultz reports the Commanders will “heavily pursue” Tyler Linderbaum in free agency if he makes it there.
Throw another team name on the pile. This makes plenty of sense as the Commanders released starting center Tyler Biadasz (recently signed by the Chargers) ahead of free agency. Linderbaum is going to cash in big time on being the best available offensive lineman on the market, should he get there.
  • LV Quarterback #15
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Kenny Pickett is a “name to potentially watch” as a backup for the Panthers.
The 27-year-old was benched in Vegas’ Week 18 win over the Chiefs after completing one of four passes for three yards and an interception. His other start was one of the worst games any quarterback had all season — a 15-of-25, 64-yard, dead-on-arrival clunker in a 31-0 loss to the Eagles. Perhaps Pickett can resurrect himself in a better situation.
  • LAC Outside Linebacker #98
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Odafe Oweh, Jaelan Phillips, Trey Hendrickson and Boye Mafe are on Dallas’ “radar” in the coming days.
The Cowboys lost out on the Maxx Crosby trade sweepstakes and will have to pivot — they reportedly had some interest in Hendrickson at the deadline. Oweh probably makes more sense as a younger upside swing, and this is the third of four NFC East teams in on Jaelan Phillips that we’ve heard about.
  • SEA Running Back #9
The Athletic’s Dan Duggan believes Kenneth Walker’s market “could be in the $15M/year range.”
If so, the Giants “can’t/won’t go there,” per Duggan. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler believes the Titans, Chiefs, Broncos, and Commanders — as well as the incumbent Seahawks — are teams to watch for Walker, who figures to be the belle of the running back free-agent market ball. Coming off his Super Bowl MVP, we wouldn’t be totally surprised if the market got this high for Walker, but it should be noted that Fowler’s prediction was a market more in the range of $12 million a season.
  • NYG Offensive Lineman #72
The Athletic’s Dan Duggan believes Giants RT Jermaine Eluemunor could make $13-$18 million a season on the open market.
Duggan says he’d bet on the high end of that. Of New York’s three main free agents, Eluemunor is the one that they still seem to have some chance of retaining. Coming off a two-year, $14 million bargain contract, Eluemunor figures to strike it big in free agency as one of the few tackles of renown on the market.
  • GB Guard #75
Packers re-signed OL Sean Rhyan to a three-year, $33 million contract extension.
The deal contains $11 million guaranteed in the form of a signing bonus. Rhyan, only 26, would have been a good bet to hold value through his twenties. He played both right guard and center last year, finishing with a career-best PFF run block grade of 65.6. This signing likely seals that Elgton Jenkins will be traded or released.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #3
ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi believes the Browns could explore the trade market at wide receiver.
With limited cap space and the ability to have the trading team absorb some of a player’s cap hit, it makes plenty of sense for the Browns to dive back into this. It would be a blow to Jerry Jeudy’s already-faltering fantasy football value if the Browns brought in another wideout, though it’s possible they settle for someone even less-renowned than Jeudy.
  • NO Running Back #41
ESPN’s Katherine Terrell believes Alvin Kamara’s long-term future is “uncertain.”
Isn’t it that way for all of us, though. She continues that the team is “possibly looking to get younger and spend less at this position.” Kamara’s contract adjustment earlier this week was unusual, and Terrell noted that it freed up cap space “while providing flexibility if they part ways with the running back this year.” It would not be surprising at all if the Saints released Kamara in the coming days.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud reports the Chargers, Commanders, Giants, and 49ers have expressed interest in signing Mike Evans.
This is the majority of the list that Jonathan Jones had earlier this week, minus the Bills who have since acquired DJ Moore. Given the lack of an established franchise quarterback we’d be surprised if the Giants made it to the end of Evans’ deliberations. The other three teams all make plenty of sense, though it should be noted that several of the sourced men have cautioned against the idea that Evans would leave.
