Packers selected Arizona OT Jordan Morgan with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
An unheralded low three-star recruit who was rated as the 137th tackle prospect from the 2019 prep class according to 247Sports, Morgan (6’5/311) rapidly worked his way up the depth chart. New HC Jedd Fisch arrived in 2021 to rebuild the program following the disastrous HC Kevin Sumlin regime. Morgan took his lumps playing for a 1-11 team in his first full season as a starting LT, allowing five sacks and 27 pressures in 706 reps to go with a 53.6 PFF overall grade. The leap came in 2022 when he produced a 97.8% block efficiency rate and allowed just one sack, two penalties and 17 pressures while recording an 82nd percentile pass block grade and achieving AP first-team All-Pac-12 accolades for his standout play. That’s the good news. The bad news is he tore his ACL late in the season against UCLA in Week 11, which threatened to derail his 2023 campaign. Morgan made a miraculous recovery by posting the sixth-highest PFF pass block grade in the country (87.3) with a 0.0% blown run block rate in 311 opportunities last year. He allowed just two sacks with a 98.3% blocking efficiency rate and had one of his best games against UCLA’s ferocious edge group that boasts Laiatu Latu and the Murphy brothers, all of whom will be drafted in 2024. His 1.69s 10-yard split is an elite 98th% mark and his 9’02 broad jump ranks in 87th percentile among historical NFL Draft tackle prospects. Morgan’s 9.10 RAS proves that he is fully recovered from his late-2022 ACL tear and ready to compete for a starting spot in Year 1, despite lack of ideal length (32.875” arms).
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #18
Mike Williams failed to catch any of his three targets in the Jets’ Week 6 loss to the Bills.
Not only did he fail to come down with any of his three looks, but a slip on his third target resulted in an interception with under two minutes remaining in the game with the Jets down by three. Williams continues to play well behind Allen Lazard in the WR2 role for the Jets, making his fantasy value fleeting, at best.
  • NYJ Tight End #83
Tyler Conklin caught 2-of-3 targets for 10 yards in the Jets’ Week 6 loss to the Bills.
Conklin came into the contest listed as questionable but ultimately suited up, giving away more snaps to backup tight end Jeremy Ruckert than is typical in the process. Conklin remains a high-end TE2 as the Jets prepare to face the Steelers in Week 7.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #5
Garrett Wilson caught 8-of-10 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 6 loss to the Bills.
Rodgers and Wilson demonstrated their connection throughout the first half, with the two hooking up from five yards out to the back-middle of the end zone on a toe-tapping touchdown in the first quarter. An insane 52-yard Hail Mary touchdown reception by Allen Lazard at the end of the first half ultimately had Lazard out-gaining Wilson, with both pass-catchers finishing with more than 100 yards and a score. Wilson leads the league in targets, keeping his fantasy value high as the Jets prepare to face the Steelers on the road in Week 7.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #10
Allen Lazard caught 6-of-7 targets for 114 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 6 loss to the Bills.
After the Bills scored with just 21 seconds remaining in the first half, Aaron Rodgers connected with Garrett Wilson to get the team in range for a last ditch Hail Mary attempt at the end of the half. Lazard came down with the catch in the end zone to bring the Jets back to within three points, leading to a massive fantasy day in the process. Lazard continues to play well ahead of Mike Williams as one of Rodgers’ trusted pass-catchers, keeping him in the running for usable fantasy weeks moving forward.
  • NYJ Running Back
Braelon Allen rushed three times for eight yards in the Jets’ Week 6 loss to the Bills.
Allen failed to coral either of his two targets, more importantly watching on the sideline for greater stretches while Breece Hall was thrust back into a featured role after the offensive coordinator change this week. It appears as if any fantasy value has dried up for as long as Hall remains healthy.
  • NYJ Running Back #20
Breece Hall rushed 18 times for 113 yards in the Jets’ Week 6 loss to the Bills, adding 56 yards on five receptions.
The only thing Hall failed to do was find the end zone after getting tackled at the one. Hall also had numerous chunk yardage gains wiped away through penalties on a night when there were 22 total accepted penalties for a combined 204 yards between the two teams. That said, Hall finally found room to run to showcase his elite speed after the offensive coordinator change in New York, leaving fantasy managers in good spirits for his upside moving forward.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
Aaron Rodgers completed 22-of-35 passes for 294 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Jets’ 23-20, Week 6 loss to the Bills.
Wind was swirling on one end of the stadium, leading to two missed field goals by Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein and one missed field goal by Bills kicker Tyler Bass, with the disparity being the deciding factor in the game. The two teams combined to score 37 points in the first half after Buffalo found paint with just 21 seconds remaining before the break, only for Rodgers to unleash the magic as he connected with Allen Lazard for a 52-yard touchdown on a Hail Mary as time expired in the first half. The two teams would manage just six combined points in the second half amidst three missed field goals and stalled red zone drives, allowing the Bills to escape with a victory and put two full games between them and the Jets through six weeks. Up next for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets are the 4-2 Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 7.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #1
Curtis Samuel caught 3-of-4 targets for 44 yards in the Bills’ Week 6 win over the Jets.
Samuel’s lone incomplete target was a fade to the back corner of the end zone with the veteran wide receiver aligned in the backfield, ultimately leaving him with another unusable fantasy outing in the process. The once-promising excitement surrounding Samuel returning to his previous offensive coordinator has long since evaporated after playing sparingly to start the season.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #13
Mack Hollins caught 1-of-2 targets for an eight-yard touchdown in the Bills’ Week 7 win over the Jets.
Both of Hollins’ targets came in the end zone, catching the first for an eight-yard score and failing to come down with the second on an under-thrown ball by quarterback Josh Allen in the middle of the end zone. Hollins simply does not play enough snaps in Buffalo to maintain consistent fantasy utility.
  • BUF Tight End #88
Dawson Knox caught his only target for a 12-yard touchdown in the Bills’ Week 6 win over the Jets.
Knox also drew a defensive pass interference call but only one target went down on his ledger against the Jets. His touchdown came on a Josh Allen scramble drill at the end of the second quarter, coming back to his quarterback to the front pylon for a toe-tapping score. Knox’s fantasy value has evaporated in the new-look, run-heavy Bill offense.
