Jaguars agreed to terms with QB Nick Mullens, formerly of the Vikings, on a two-year, $6.5 million contract.
$3 million of this is guaranteed. Mullens reunites with former Vikings assistant and current Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski in Jacksonville. This would seem to slot Mullens as the Jaguars’ No. 2 quarterback and spell the end of Mac Jones’ time with Jacksonville. Mullens is 5-15 as a starter in seven seasons, but has completed 65.8 percent of his passes for 6,429 yards. He’s turnover-prone, but a decent No. 2 signal-caller.
