Malik Washington caught 3-of-4 targets for 10 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 14 win over the Jets.

The Dolphins passing game was not needed after the first quarter against the Jets, leaving Washington to total 10 yards on four targets for the game. Nothing new here, Washington is the screen/check-down wide receiver and clear No. 2 pass-catcher on the team. Higher volume passing games could certainly give him a good PPR fantasy game, but Washington is a touchdown-dependent WR5 heading into Week 15 against the Steelers.

ESPN’s Kris Rhim reports Keaton Mitchell was wearing a walking boot on his left foot after practice.

Per Rhim, Mitchell told reporters in the locker room he was okay. Mitchell was not on the injury report at all. It’s possible something flared up during practice but he didn’t have it looked at until after the injury report was posted. We will get more clarity on the situation tomorrow. Mitchell’s role grew in Week 3 with 11 touches, but a foot or ankle injury would likely limit any further progress.
Report: Waddle 'fine' after sporting walking boot
Kyle Dvorchak discusses Jaylen Waddle's availability for Week 4 after he sported a walking boot on Sunday after the Denver Broncos' victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Jackson Powers-Johnson (groin) did not practice Wednesday.

Powers-Johnson was the only Raider who missed practice because of an injury. Former third-round pick Caleb Rogers filled in for JPJ on Sunday, though he was only needed for five snaps. Rogers would presumably draw the start if Powers-Johnson can’t go.

J.K. Dobbins (hip) is practicing in full for Week 4 against the 49ers.

RJ Harvey was checked for a concussion in Week 3 and is not on the injury report today, meaning both backs are good to go for Week 4. Dobbins saw 17 carries versus the Rams compared to just two for Harvey, though the latter caught six passes. Dobbins caught one pass. The rushing advantage will keep Dobbins in the RB3 mix for Week 4.

KhaDarel Hodge (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

This is a low blow, even for the subsation. Hodge began the year on San Francisco’s practice squad but was promoted to the active roster when De’Zhaun Stribling went down with an ankle injury. He wound up running 45 percent of the routes in Week 3 but was not targeted once. With Mike Evans also banged up, Jacob Cowing and Jordan Watkins could be in line for more work this week.

Ladd McConkey (foot) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

We’re unsure if it’s good that McConkey is no longer listed with his rib injury or bad that he’s dealing with something new. Either way, a limited session to start the week means McConkey should be available on Sunday. He was on the field for 61-of-69 snaps in Week 3 but managed just five targets. He still turned that into four grabs for 66 yards, which isn’t a bad performance given how awful the Chargers looked. Even if the offensive environment is a limiting factor for Ladd, he remains a low-end WR2 for Week 4.

Terrance Ferguson (ankle) was held out of Wednesday’s practice.

Coach Sean McVay said earlier this week that Ferguson was unlikely to play against the Eagles, and this certainly puts him on the “out” trajectory. The timing could not possibly be worse, as Ferguson was finally producing a little bit, and Puka Nacua (groin) is now set to return. That makes Ferguson a shaky hold in standard-sized 12-team leagues.

Falcons signed Gervon Dexter to a four-year, $78 million contract extension.

The deal includes $46.5 million guaranteed. The Bears traded Dexter to Atlanta after an offseason of unproductive contract discussions. A new deal was always the most likely outcome when the Falcons acquired him. Dexter only has .5 sacks through three weeks, but he ranks second among defensive linemen in pressures at 14. Pro Football Focus has him charted with the highest pass-rush win rate among defensive linemen. Dexter is now under contract through the 2030 season.

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said S Julian Love (calf) will practice in some capacity on Wednesday.

This puts Love on track to play in Week 4 against the Chargers. Fellow Seahawks starting safety Ty Okada (hamstring) will not resume practicing today, though the unit’s overall health is heading in the right direction.

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said the team has not yet decided whether to activate Zach Charbonnet’s (knee) 21-day practice window this week.

The fact that this is even being considered is good news. Rookie RB Jadarian Price has not yet carved out a featured role for himself, so Charbonnet could feasibly return to his 2025 role—or more. If available, he is probably worth stashing in 12-team leagues at this time.

Dolphins WR Chris Bell (knee) was limited on Wednesday.

Bell is coming off a career-best 4/67 stat line after having his practice reps managed last week. The Dolphins’ rookie wide receiver is on track to face the Vikings this week. He profiles as a WR4/FLEX in what is admittedly a tough matchup on paper.
