IRVING, Texas – With Brendon Todd’s win at the HP Byron Nelson Championship, there have now been eight – count ‘em, eight – PGA Tour winners with University of Georgia ties in just 27 tournaments so far this season.
“I think they just gave me motivation that I can go out there and do it,” Todd said of his fellow Bulldogs.

In addition to the latest winner, this season’s champions from UGA include Bubba Watson (twice), Russell Henley, Chris Kirk and Harris English.
Patrick Reed, who already has two victories this season, attended Georgia before transferring to Augusta State.
“I’m pretty good buddies with Chris Kirk and Harris, Brian Harman, [Erik] Compton, Hudson [Swafford],” Todd said. “Go down the list, we’re all good friends.”
