ORLANDO, Fla. -- The preeminent source for all things college golf, College Central presented by PING is back for its second year at a new time, Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET beginning Feb. 11 on The Golf Channel. Host Jennifer Mills and analyst Steve Burkowski will preview the upcoming spring season in the premiere.
As the television home for collegiate golf, College Central is pleased to be the exclusive home of the Division 1 Mens and Womens Coaches Polls. The show presents viewers with a look at tomorrows professional golfers through scores and highlights and unique features on players and universities.
The PING S59 Campus Spotlight is one of the most popular segments on the show, where student athletes from various universities take viewers on campus tours. The segment is designed to be a fun and upbeat way to share historical sites of campuses, peek into student life and provide an inside look at the schools golf facilities.
Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Louisiana State University and Jackson State University are some of the schools to be spotlighted this season.
Other features on College Central presented by PING include the Hoofer 3 Coaches Corner; My Alma Mater, where current professionals take a trip down memory lane; and Alumni Performance Tracker, which is based upon money leaders on the professional tours.
College Central will air each week through the June 2004 NCAA championships at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Va.
