ORLANDO, Fla. -- Since exploding onto the national golf scene three years ago, Natalie Gulbis has captured the attention of both avid and casual golf fans alike.
This month Gulbis is giving Golf Channel viewers a rare look at her day-to-day life both on and off the course, as the cable networks cameras capture Gulbis live and unscripted in The Natalie Gulbis Show, a four-part reality series airing exclusively on The Golf Channel.
The Natalie Gulbis Show offers viewers a glimpse into the day-to-day life of the LPGA Tour star.
The series debuts Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 10 p.m. ET, following the tenth episode of The Big Break IV: USA vs. Europe, the cable networks groundbreaking reality series.
The Golf Channels four-part series will focus on Gulbis hectic schedule during the LPGA season, capturing her in a variety of experiences between LPGA Tour events. The cable networks cameras will be there when she makes an appearance on a national television sports show; on the set for national photo shoots for both her swimsuit calendar and for mens magazine FHM; and even while she joins fellow LPGA Tour star Paula Creamer for a few frames at the bowling alley.
The rise in Gulbis on-course game has been mirrored by her soaring popularity, as she has been featured in her own swimsuit calendars, photo shoots in national magazines, her own website and is the face for six sponsorship companies, including adidas and TaylorMade.
The premiere episode is a behind-the-scenes peek into Gulbis life, starting at a family and friends barbecue at the Takefuji Classic, and continuing with a tour of her Lake Las Vegas home. The Golf Channel cameras also tag along for her trip to Los Angeles, where she appears on a nationally broadcast television sports talk show, as well as capturing her thoughts on qualifying for the U.S. Solheim Cup team.
Gulbis has her hands full in the second episode, dealing with a wild crew on the set of her 2006 swimsuit calendar photo shoot. She also avoids a potential hair tragedy when a hair-care product malfunction threatens her trademark blond locks.
Maintaining the delicate balance between her whirlwind off-course lifestyle and her on-course game is the theme of the third episode, as Gulbis tackles both fast cars and photo shoots, and even spends time with famed golf instructor Butch Harmon. The show continues in Williamsburg, Va., site of the Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill, where she meets another Golf Channel reality show star, sharing a practice round with Big Break III winner Danielle Amie.
The final show continues Gulbis fast-paced lifestyle, starting with a few frames of bowling with fellow LPGA Tour star Creamer. Then its off to a first-pitch ceremony in Colorado, followed by some down time with Dad in Atlantic City.
A new episode of The Natalie Gulbis Show airs each Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET, starting Tuesday, November 15 and continuing through Tuesday, December 6.
