Paula Creamer withdrew from the Safeway Classic before Thursday’s first round in Portland, Ore.

LPGA media officials said she did not cite a reason for her withdrawal.

Creamer’s pulling out marks the third big-name withdrawal from an LPGA event in the last two weeks.

Rolex world No. 1 Inbee Park withdrew from the Safeway Classic on Tuesday, citing flu-like symptoms. World No. 2 Stacy Lewis withdrew from the CN Canadian Women’s Open after the first round last week, citing physical and mental exhaustion.

Creamer is ranked No. 11 in the world. Like Lewis, Creamer played in both the Ricoh Women’s British Open and then the emotionally charged American Solheim Cup loss. Creamer also played in last week’s CN Canadian Women’s Open, tying for 10th.
