The PGA Grand Slam of Golf is returning to Bermuda, but with a new date.

The two-day, 36-hole event for the year’s four major champions will be held on Oct. 15-16, 2013 – a week after the scheduled season opener, the Frys.com Open in San Martin, Calif. (The PGA Tour is moving to a wraparound schedule in 2013-14.) The $1.35 million Grand Slam, then, is likely to be held the week of the Vegas event.

Padraig Harrington won the 2012 tournament, which was played at Port Royal Golf Course and has been held in Bermuda since 2007.
