ORLANDO, Fla. – Justin Rose shot a sizzling 68 Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to post a 6-under 282 total that finished well ahead of the leaders. The key to the round? He putted with his eyes closed on the back nine.
It’s a drill that he says he’s been working on and it seems to free him up on any putts inside 10 feet.
‘I’ve been making nothing so why not give it a try?’ Rose said. ‘Mentally it was a challenge to do that coming down the stretch when you’re trying to be that carefree and just let it go.’
